This is Me.

Hi, I’m Andrew Henry.

I am the founder of the Growth Collective and a Leadership & Business Coach. In the typical LinkedIn fashion, I might introduce myself as a Leader, Coach, Collaborator, People Person, and Team Builder.

But ultimately I am a human.

I am based near Biarritz in France (et oui je parle français). I am also a father to 2 great humans and dedicated partner. I love to cook, see live music, play guitar, draw and travel.

I love leadership, business and working with people.

For over 20 years I have worked with some amazing brands (Ted Baker, Quiksilver, Billabong, Roxy, RVCA) in merchandising, development, marketing, sales and retail.

I ran a 500M€ global business, built a brand from scratch and partnered on some amazing collaborations, Acquisitions, mergers and financial targets were a daily focus and all the time working with so many amazing people from so many cultures. Growth was achieved and success delivered.

I loved every single day - (Work) Life was great!

I also thought 60+ hours a week was normal.

It’s not.

But when you are riding the wave of leadership, working on so many exciting projects you just keep working. I didn’t count my hours. Everything I did was to achieve more success with my teams and the brands I worked with.

And the pressure mounted. I worked harder.

No down time. Not enough time for the kids. Or guitar. Or cooking. And no focus on myself.

And this is not normal.

And burnout is fucking terrible. It’s a long recovery. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. To go from being invincible to literally struggling to leave your house should not be the price of success. Unfortunately I paid that price.

I realized something had to change.

Can you be successful & have a positive life balance? Yes

But it takes work and focus. It means change. But it is possible.

I had my first coach in my early 40’s and it was a game changer. We worked on setting clear goals and boundaries, better time management, forming positive habits, improving my communications skills. And with the effort it worked.

I was actually more productive. I became a better leader. Success continued. And I had downtime. I focused on myself and became healthier and mentally stronger. Better clarity made better decisions. Goals were achieved. Numbers were hit.

And I was happy.

And that is why I coach.

I still love business and leadership.

I love building strategies, defining goals and targeting growth and consumer loyalty. Building culture and motivating teams is amazing. Seeing collaboration deliver success is what great leaders do.

But I see so many leaders and business owners following the same path that I was on. Pressure. Stress. Burnout. This should not be the price of success.

So now I am focusing on helping people like you that want success and growth but can’t get the right balance between work and yourself.

I will help you with your professional goals. I will help you grow your business. But I will help you do this in a much better & healthier way.

It is possible. And #fuckburnout

Are you ready to achieve success and get it in a much healthier way?

We should talk.
